I took the bus from the Larkin bus terminal in Johor to Malacca. This is about 3 hours ride and costs about S$7. In Malacca, I stayed in this 4 Star Hatten Hotel with a Hatten shopping centre next to it. The main tourist attarctions are within 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
